Ingredients:


1/2 cup flour

2 pounds round steak -- (2 to 2 1/2)

1/4 cup shortening

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can water

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 Cup chopped onion
 

Preparation / Directions:


Have steak cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick, Pound flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt into meat until flour Is absorbed. Brown in hot shortening. Add onions, Cook until onions are limp. Blend soup and water; pour over meat. Bake, covered, at 3750 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until fork tender.
